Who Are You?
I’m Tyler Holm. Born, raised, high schooled, and colleged in Aberdeen, South Dakota (aka Heaven). I moved to Rochester in December 2004 with a job as a computer programmer with IBM. In late 2005, I took a software engineer position with the Mayo Clinic and currently love it. I got married in the fall of 2006 to my favorite wife Michelle. She works as a Pharmacist for Mayo.

Fishing is my single most favorite hobby. I enjoy multi-species fishing and I have passion for targeting our states largest fish. I have a 16.5’ Lund boat that fits the bill for most any style of fishing (except hurricanes on Mille Lacs).

I enjoy sharing my outdoor experiences with others and encouraging others to get into the outdoors.

"Handing out toothaches, one fish at a time." - Me

RE: Who Are You?
I'm Andy Anderson. I moved to the SE part of Minnesota just over 6 years ago now. Shortly after that I married my wife, Lori. She works at Sterling State Bank's coperate headquarters here in Rochester. I work for Adamson Motors as a salesperson. I am sure I am like most on this site, I LOVE the outdoors, whether that's fishing, hunting or whatever. Just like to be outdoors. I have two boys, Hunter age 5 and Dylan age 3 who are just as excited to be in the outdoors as I am. So I am eagerly anticipating when they are old enough to let them tag along on some of my more adventurous outings!

RE: Who Are You?
formerly known as frydaddy...

I was born and raised in rural Dubuque County Iowa. I graduated from the University of Iowa and have lived in Rochester for the past 12 years.

I work the local water in a 1994 Lund Explorer; old school tiller. My ice shack is a beat up ten year old shappel. I shoot deer with a black synthetic mossberg shotgun and black synthetic CVA muzzleloader.

I like to fish for all species. I spend a lot of time on lake Pepin in the summer and really enjoy the Zumbro River.

RE: Who Are You?
I'm the fisherman formerly known as Crickschop04 (fresh new start needs a fresh new handle)

My name is Nick Matti, and I live in Elgin, MN. I'm originally from Kasson, MN where I graduated from KMHS. After HS I went to Winona State and graduated from WSU with with a degree in high school mathematics. For the last 8 years I've been a math teacher at ROCCHS.

I married the favorite wife (Jen) almost four years ago, and have three kids (Taylor , Parker, and Brynlee)

Although I do enjoy some hunting (especially bunnies with my beagles, Cricket and Chopper,) I most enjoy all sorts of fishing. During the summer I can be found on any of the SEMN trout streams, or out of my newly acquired 16.5' Alumacraft Dominator. The winter months find me fishing the hardwater (Usually the big river, and her backwaters) out of my Fish Trap Voyager.

If you recognize me or one of my rigs, please stop by to introduce yourself and say "Hi".

RE: Who Are You?
My name is Paul Kramer, have lived in Rochester my whole life. I'm currently homeschooled, and I take a couple shop classes at JM High. I have a job at Hy-vee Barlows as a cashier/bagger. I enjoy anything outdoors: biking, camping, snowboarding, hunting, and well above all, fishing.

I have a little 14' Porta-bote and a 5hp B&S to scoot around in, otherwise I'm on shore or in someone else's rig. For the hardwater season, I've got a little two man Shappell shelter. Most of my fishing is catch and release, and I'll fish anywhere for anything. Most of my fishing is done here in town in the local ponds and rivers. I owe tons of what I know to the guys who have shared their experience at let me tag along, and hope to keep learning more about the sport.

RE: Who Are You?
Eric Korman- grew up in Paynesville MN. Loved fishing and hunting (specifically waterfowl hunting) since I can remember. Moved to Rochester in 2005 and was slow to get into fishing down here. I'm still adapting to river and pond fishing which is different than the lake fishing I was used to back home. I've gotten the fishing bug back again big time since buying a 16.5 foot crestliner two falls ago.

RE: Who Are You?
My name is Rick Curtis and I have lived in Rochester for the past 3.5+ years. I grew up in Mid-Michigan, stayed right there though college (Michigan State), and IBM brought me to Minnesota. I grew up fishing mainly pan fish, but since I've been here I have dabbled in trout and Ty has turned me to the roughies.

flip, formerly known as flip.
Grew up in the bluff country, moved to MPLS, moved to Rochester in 2000. I work at Tea's Design welding/fabricating and assembling hot rod seats, I also work in the R/C and Hobby Shop that the company owns. I fish as much as I can, but it's never enough If I can get out 3 times a week I'm pretty content. Love the ice, but not as much as the topwater bite. If you see me at a GTG I'll be the one pounding High Life's and getting ripped on by Michelle.

RE: Who Are You?
I ENJOY FISHING ONCE IN A WHILE, JUST TO FILL MY FREEZER. I SHOULDN'T SAY THAT I LIKE "FISHING", I LIKE CATCHING FISH, SO WHENEVER THE HOT BITE STARTS YOU CAN USUALLY FIND ME THERE THE NEXT DAY.

WHEN I'M NOT FISHING I CAN USUALLY BE FOUND IN A CASINO SOMEWHERE. I LIKE SLOT MACHINES.

RE: Who Are You?
My name is Rick, some folks call me Dick, either one will get my attention. Grew up in Rochester, moved away for about 20 years and just moved back the summer of 2006. Unless your wealthy, there aren't many places to go fishin in Los Angeles, so I am glad to be back.

I own Renegade Screen Printing and mainly screen print band merchandise for touring bands, as well as, any business that needs custom printed clothing for a professional look... and I will do the job right without ripping you off.

I just plain like to be out fishin for just about anything, but my friend Flip has now got me hooked on the excitement of top water hits...

Since I set my own schedule, you can often find me out more than once in the same day during the summer... I will work in between to keep myself honest and my guilt level lower. I'm usually wearin a cowboy hat of some kind so if ya see me you can come say "Hi". If I'm with Flip, he's the one with a can of Miller High Life.

Josh Williams. 26. Married(Carrie)+expecting (YIKES). Born/raised in Wyoming, the outdoors are in my blood! Moved here about a year and a half ago. If I'm not at work I'm usually thinkin about where/when I'll be huntin/fishin. No elk out here... try to fill the void with the large fish that I've been led to by some great people on this site. I've already learned a ton about huntin/fishin in the time I've been here... was previously quite/gun shy on that 'other' site. Count me in for a few posts/reports every now and again!

Matt Dufek. Born and raised in Green Bay. Went to UW Stevens Point for a degree in tree hugging. Moved all around WI for 5 years and then landed a job that took me to Rochester. Been here a couple years with my fishing fiance Patti, and I like it just fine. I enjoy all types of fishing, especially when its away from the crowd. I try to duck hunt and hope to get back into deer hunting this year. A lot of people on here helped me out when I moved to town. I like to pay it forward so keep your eyes on the "Let's Get Out" forum.
