Login Issues
Raise your hand if you've had login issues. I think I got peanut butter cookies setup instead of chocolate chip cookies.

What I've seen and heard is that when you attempt to log-in, it says you successfully logged in, but then takes you back to a log-in screen (now effectively logging you in).

I may have to update a cookie setting in the board that I may have mis-configured. If your having troubles logging in, try clearing your cookies

MY HAND IS up, 4 tries, locked for 15 minutes. it's something to do with the verification, that is alpha only.

RE: Login Issues
I know flip had problems last night, he was using Firefox for a browser, once he changed that, BINGO first try. I don't know how many of you are using Firefox, but maybe it could be a browser issue... Just brainstorming here.

RE: Login Issues
It's probably just a setting issue then. Which is what I figured it would be.

RE: Login Issues
I use firefox and IE. I had some initial problem from my home PC, but nothing in the past several days. Keep letting me know if this continues to be a problem. If more people hit this, I'll have to change the cookies. Only deal then is that it may affect every (forcing everyone to clear their cookies), so I'm hoping this problem just goes away.

RE: Login Issues
I've seen that too. I don't think it has anything to do with our site specifically, more so the GoDaddy server that it's hosted on. Usually if you just hit either refresh or back and re click the link you wanted it goes.

Some-Biscuit. They were no help. Continue to let me know if there is issue and they will escalate it.

If you enter the password wrong 5 times, you basically have to wait 15 minutes to try again.

Well, if you guys want me to "fix" the cookie misconfiguration, let me know. I'm pretty sure it will fix things up, but it might require action on everybody's part to clear your current cookies. Although it might not affect anybody.

I'm sorry if anyone else had this problem. We were trying to figure out a way to eliminate lurkers in the other forums, and obviously it didn't work! Everything should be back to normal now. If you still have problems viewing the other forums let me know.
